Private Introduction of MAKISIMA
---Between Inside and Outside. (4)

Where is MAKISIMA?

Q: "Where are you from (in Japan)?"

A: "I am legally domiciled in Tokyo."
Note: Honseki in Japanese may mean one's legal domicile in English.

I do not know what answer to make for this question too. I live near my place of work. MAKISIMA(Makisima Lab.), my parents' company, is now at Yanaka, Taitou-ku, Tokyo, where is near Nippori Station. ( Please see their web site, MAKISIMA(http://www.makisima.com/), to know exact address. ) I have never lived in Yanaka. They may have more sensibility of artists than that of professions, and they often move to the place they want to live or can live. Going back to the past, Yanaka; Miyoshi-town, Saitama; Ooizumigakuen-cho, Nerima-ku, Tokyo; Yugawara-town, Kanagawa (near Manadzuru); Ootsu-city, Shiga (several places in Ootsu); Chigasaki-city, Kanagawa; and so on.

I myself lived with them till Ooizumigakuen-cho. Therefore, the answer of "Where are you from?" is depend on the definition. Where I was born? Where I grew up? Where my parents lives? Where my ancestor lived? My legal domicile? Or where?

Of course, MAKISIMA Lab. will move in future again. Therefore, I want them to hold the internet domain, makisima.com, and the address, http://www.makisima.com/.

makisima.com and makisima.org

So, the web site, MAKISIMA (http://www.makisima.com/), is independent of my personal web site, Makisima Library (http://www.makisima.org/).

I describe sentences arbitrary myself in Makisima Library makisima.org including this page. MAKISIMA Lab. may have different opinion, or mine may be something wrong. I hope you will not take it amiss. I am a member of Makisima family, but I am not a member of MAKISIMA Lab. I look at MAKISIMA from such between inside and outside.

(MAKISIMA) MAKISIMA ( http://www.makisima.com/ )

Note: "MAKISIMA" here means my parents' company, MAKISIMA, and their work.
